I am an everyday active working nail tech which I love to do. Passing such skills on to you is a huge passion of mine.
Nails are a huge part of my business. Over the last 8 years I have spent a lot of time attending courses to upskill and perfect my technique. Nails definitely haven’t come easy to me and I have had to work hard to get where I am today.
If you feel like there’s something out there that you’re supposed to be doing, if you have a passion for it, then stop wishing and just do it. If you don’t love what you do, you won’t do it with much conviction or passion. I stuck at what I love, and it has definitely paid off.
I love doing 3D acrylic nail art. It’s such delicate work but really does set the nails off to look unique and bespoke to my clients. I also enjoy crazy nail art. Something that’s unique and different. Something that’s always pushing my boundaries in my ability. There is always something new to learn and we will never stop learning.
I have been using CJP since they very first started, and it really is a game changer. I have never fell in love with a brand so quickly. I went on a back to basics course with Jemma Porch the owner of CJP in 2017. This only made me fall in love with the brand and products even more.
I have recently spent a week with Chrissie Pearce having extensive training covering all the up-to-date skills and unique techniques which was amazing, and I have learnt so much. I will be more than honoured to pass these skills onto you to help you live your passion the same as I am every day. This has only confirmed even more my passion for all things nails.
Opening CJP nail mail is like Christmas for me. (which is almost every week) I have an addiction to CJP haha!

Course Content
Class Size – Max per class 4-6
Prerequisites – Must already hold an Acrylic Qualification. This is not suitable for complete beginners. This course is aimed at working techs.
Model Required – A model is encouraged on this class for full potential; however, you can practice on yourself, so please ensure nails are removed from your non-dominant hand prior to training.
Course Duration – 1 Day, 7.5 hours.
Theory Work – Practical training only.

Course Description
Do you love painting nails but get fed up of them chipping? Often get complimented on your polished nails or simply no longer have the time to attend regular salon appointments and have always “fancied” doing nails?
Or are you a seasoned tech and haven’t ventured into getting that all-important qualification yet?
Well this is the perfect place to start, not only will you learn how to polish flawlessly, you will be taught how to paint nails that last alongside all the health and safety that comes with using nail products and a safe removal. This course should come with a highly addictive warning as unfortunately you will soon be hooked and discover you can never have enough colours!
Our educator will show you the endless possibilities with Gel Polish and what you can incorporate and achieve.
You will learn how to incorporate glitters and thin encapsulated media (art/foils), you will also learn gliding, marbling, design work and introduction to Ombre. The art will be carried out on display tips.

1 day – 6.5 teaching hours (Please allow 7.5hrs as well as lunch)
Start time 9am – 4pm.
Close the Gap – Combination E-file Course.
On this course also known as “Russian Manicure” you will be shown the art of perfect preparation which can speed up prep time as well as ensure gel and enhancement products can be applied super close, giving the illusion of ‘no gap’ at the cuticle.
You will be shown the correct cuticle efile bits for each step when removing cuticle and excess dead keratinised skin, as well as the combination manicure using precision cuticle scissors and tools. You must already hold a recognised Efile qualification and Gel Polish or Gel Qualification for the later part of the class.
Using the Efile you will be guided on correct speeds to safely tidy and prep thoroughly. You will then be shown tips and tricks to provide a Gel manicure service to ‘Close the gap’ and gain super close, neat cuticle work.
You will need the Efile manicure bit kit plus your efile and all usual sundries and Gel polish base coats, colours etc. (Kit list provided and link for kit at the bottom of this info)
Course Modules
- What is the Cuticle, pros & Cons, safe anatomy of excess dead Keratinised tissue
- Correct efile bits to perform dry manicure and the difference between Combi Manicure
- Step by step of dry efile manicure and combi manicure ensuring correct speeds and angles executed to perfection for flawless results.
- Health and safety and hygiene of bits and tools.
- Preparation of the nail plate the CJP way ready for super close cuticle work and reinforcing a basic gel manicure to produce flawless glossy results and finishes.
- Application of Gel Polish
- How to take flawless photos and lighting effects, with app and photo editing techniques.
- Recap on rebalancing a gel Manicure and cuticle work after a 3-4 week service.
Drill Bit kit purchased separately from your educator as specific high quality bits must be used and a kit is around £50 PLUS you will need precision cuticle scissors. You will need to bring your own Efile.

Model Required – work on yourself – must be on real person, no training hands, ensure YOUR hands are free of enhancements.
Prerequisites – You must be qualified in Efile with a recognised provider, and for the Gel Manicure hold a Gel Polish Qualification.

Course Description
Welcome BOB (Builder Gel) into your salon! Bob is a little different to a regular gel product, it’s very hard for us to not refer to Bob as him so bear with us!
Bob became a part of our product family in natural and clear shades a few years ago and has recently been re-developed into a HEMA-free formulation in lots of new shades.
On this course, we will show you just how versatile “he” is! You can build up BOB on the natural nails to provide extra support and structure, and you will also learn how to apply BOB as an enhancement product over a nail tip and by using a sculpting form.
You will be taught how to refill, rebalance, colour change and remove. This is an exciting course as Bob is such a versatile product, he’s a great middle man for those clients who need more than a gel polish but don’t enjoy wearing acrylic extensions. There is a place for Bob in every salon. Learn how to safely incorporate builder gel into your treatment menu with the help of an experienced educator.

Yes, we have all been there and sat on the fence contemplating training in E-File but listening to that voice in our ear warning of the dangers, wondering how we explain the jump to electric filling to our clients after swearing blind for years they “ruin nails” – well there is no time like the present!
Your E-File will become your best friend, not only will it dramatically speed up your times it will help protect you from suffering further down the line from the physical toll on your body from hand filing. There’s a saying that is so true “it’s the fools, not the tools” you will not cause any damage at all once you are trained in how to use an electric file, you will learn not only how to wizz through acrylic but you will be taught how to wizz through safety ensuring that your file quickly becomes your most valuable piece of equipment. Time is money!
