I came to nails later in life than most, due to an illness I couldn’t carry on with my previous job, and initially started doing nails as something to do while recovering.
It quickly became my passion and over the years I’ve travelled and trained with some amazing educators, wanting to be the best I could possibly be. I came to use CJP pretty early on in my career and I’ve never looked back. From the quality of their products to their customer service and support, it’s second to none.
Being an educator for them is a privilege and being able to teach and pass on knowledge to a high standard is something.
I’m very proud of teaching and supporting my students and seeing them gain confidence in their skills and being able to help them be the best they can possibly be has become my passion too. I live in the countryside surrounded by hills with my husband, son and our fur baby, a miniature dachshund called Boo. My students love coming and say that I always make them feel so calm, saying it’s like a play day with a friend.
I have a background in art, once being a ceramic painter and educator, so a lot of my sets are quite artistic, although I still love a plain set that shows off amazing structure.
In my spare time I still love to draw and paint, and going on walks with little Boo.

You pull a set of the finest nails you ever did out the bag, you excitedly turn into David Bailey and take a 1000 pictures. Your client leaves and you can’t wait to upload this masterpiece to your social media and then suddenly your heart sinks as you scroll through shot after shot and you're left feeling totally deflated as no matter how many shots, different angles and lights you used the finished picture suddenly shows a thousand flaws you didn’t notice at the time.
