I used to be a PA until I had my 3 children and took some time out to bring up my babies. I was a severe nail biter and decided to buy a cheap nail kit and do my own nails to help them grow which is when I quickly realised how much I enjoyed doing nails so I did my first course in 2006.

Over the years I have done many different courses with many different companies to better my skills and the day I found CJP it changed my life. My confidence grew and I knew that this was the brand I wanted to stay with. I have always had an eye for art and design and my passion soon turned into an obsession. Especially anything that sparkles. I became a perfectionist and soon realised that I wanted to pass on my knowledge and skills to other techs. Since starting my nail journey my dream soon became that I wanted to teach for a brand that I believed in and knew CJP was my match made in heaven, so when I was offered the role to teach for Jemma and Chrissie, I jumped at the chance. I knew that I had made it.

Although there are cheap courses out there, they are cheap for a reason. There’s so much stuff you need to learn which you just don’t get with many of these other courses. CJP courses are so informative and thorough, full of knowledge and will teach you everything you need to know to become the best nail tech you can be.

I eat, sleep and breathe nails and I can 100% say that I love my job and love watching students be able to fulfil their dreams and be able to better their skills. When I see their smile, when they know they have cracked it and seeing their confidence grow is what makes it all so worthwhile. Hi, I’m Chrissie Pearce

I’ve been a nail technician since 2008 and teaching since 2013, and honestly, if you’d told me back then where this little career would take me, I never would have believed you!

I’m incredibly proud to be the Head of Education for CJP Nail Systems, and after all these years, I’m still as passionate about nails, education and helping other nail techs as I was when I first started.

How it all began…

Nails honestly weren’t something I ever planned to get into.

My only experience of anything remotely beauty-related was a little bit of practical work we did at school when we had to choose our options. In fact, when it came to choosing my career, it was either beauty… or mechanics!

I left school and started an apprenticeship in Surface Finishing on Super Yachts, and I was well on my way to completing my qualification when I unfortunately suffered a serious fall and badly injured my back, resulting in surgery.

At the time, I genuinely felt like my life and the career I had worked towards were over. My body simply wouldn’t allow me to continue doing the job I had trained for.

So, somewhere between feeling sorry for myself and deciding I needed a career where I could sit down, I somehow fell into nails in 2008!

And the rest, as they say, is history.

From nail tech to educator

I started as a working nail technician and have always believed that the best education comes from actually doing the job.

I still love working with clients, and that has always been hugely important to the way I teach. I’m not interested in teaching techniques that look amazing on a training hand but take three hours in a busy salon!

My speciality has always been creating beautiful, durable, salon-friendly nails within a realistic salon timeframe — understanding how to achieve the look a client wants while working efficiently, correctly and profitably.

After years behind the desk, I began teaching in 2013, and education quickly became just as important to me as doing nails myself.

Over the years I’ve taught thousands of students, worked with nail techs and educators around the world, delivered face-to-face and online education, developed courses and training programmes, and helped shape the way nail education is delivered in the private sector as a ghostwriter.

CJP Nail Systems

I’m incredibly proud of my relationship with CJP Nail Systems, having been involved with the brand since its early days.

Jemma and I have always shared the same belief that education should be created by nail techs, for nail techs — practical, relevant and designed around what actually happens in the salon.

Together, we have worked extensively on developing the CJP education programme, and one of the parts of my role I’m most passionate about is educating and developing educators.

I create and continually develop training material, manuals and lesson plans, work closely with educators and regularly update training to ensure techniques and education remain current.

Education is never something that should stand still. The products change, the industry changes, trends change and, most importantly, we learn more.

That’s why I’m always researching, testing, developing and refining.

Education behind the scenes

Something many people don’t realise is that a huge part of my work happens behind the scenes.

Alongside teaching, I’ve worked on nail education programmes, course development and educational content for companies and government education programmes, particularly overseas.

I’ve always loved the educational side of the industry — understanding why something works, breaking techniques down and finding better ways of explaining them.

I’ve also spent years developing comprehensive education resources, including detailed theory and practical training, because I strongly believe that being a great nail technician isn't just about being able to physically do nails.

It’s understanding why you’re doing something, how products work, how to troubleshoot problems, how to work safely and efficiently, and how to build those skills into a successful business.

Training with me

Although I’m still a working nail technician, education is now a huge part of my career.

I teach 1-to-1 training, small groups, specialist skills days, educator training and online education, as well as working with and supporting other educators.

And now I’m incredibly excited to be taking on a new chapter…

I’ll be teaching regularly at CJP HQ in Manchester as the resident educator, temporarily, giving students the opportunity to train with me directly in the home of CJP.

This is something particularly special to me because CJP education is such a huge part of my career, and being able to bring my own style of teaching directly to CJP HQ is an opportunity I’m really excited about.

I also regularly create and tailor specialist education around particular techniques and skills, rather than simply teaching from a set syllabus. Sometimes the best education is a day spent focusing on the things you actually want to improve.

And outside of nails…

If you know me, you’ll know I still like to get my hands dirty!

My original background in surface finishing definitely never left me, and I’ve always had a huge passion for classic cars and bodywork. I have quite a collection, so when I’m not talking about nails, there’s a good chance I’m talking about cars!

Looking back, I actually think my first career had a bigger influence on my nail career than I ever realised.

Surface finishing taught me to obsess over detail, precision, preparation and finish — and those principles have become a huge part of the way I approach nails and education.

So, why me?

I’ve never really had a master plan for my career.

I just kept following the things I loved, learning as much as I could, questioning why we did things the way we did and trying to find better ways.

From starting as a nail technician in 2008, to teaching since 2013, to becoming Head of Education, developing education programmes, training educators and teaching students all over the world, it’s been a pretty incredible journey.

And the thing I’m most grateful for?

I still absolutely love it.

I love nails.
I love learning.
I love creating.
And most of all, I love seeing that moment when something finally clicks for a student.

Whether you’re completely new to nails, an experienced technician wanting to refine your skills, an educator wanting to develop further, or simply someone who wants to take their work to the next level, I want my education to give you skills you can actually take away and use.

Because ultimately, that’s what good education should do.

It should make you better, faster, more confident and more successful.

Hey there! I’m Claire, and I’m excited to share a bit about my life and passion with you. Along with my fantastic husband, we juggle the joys of raising six amazing kids and two adorable pugs. Let’s just say multitasking is our superpower! Together, we run a busy studio in Perth, which is home to a talented tattoo artist, a skilled sports therapist, and of course, a vibrant nail bar and training academy!

 Right now, we’re on an exciting journey to expand our offerings and introduce beauty treatments alongside my absolute obsession: NAILS! I’ve been captivated by the world of nails for as long as I can remember. The styles and designs simply enchant me, and once I got my qualification, I was all in! From that moment, nails have been my life’s passion. I love to experiment, and if something doesn’t work out at first, I just keep practicing until I nail it—nothing can hold me back! 

 I aim to create stunning designs that fit seamlessly into salon life. While I adore intricate styles, my focus is on crafting looks that appear high-end but can be executed quickly. I’m thrilled to share my insights with my students, helping them discover those speedy techniques.

 I’m a huge fan of CJP products—they’ve truly elevated my work. Never did I imagine I would become an educator, but here I am, loving every minute of it! Now, it’s my mission to help YOU elevate your skills too. I cherish guiding my students, showing you how simple things can be when broken down into manageable steps. Being part of your journey from the very beginning is such an honour, and I can’t wait to pass on my tips and tricks so you can unlock your full potential. 

Along the way, I’ve learned two invaluable lessons: A) Rome wasn’t built in a day, and B) perseverance pays off! You truly get out what you put in, and with practice, anything is within your reach. Let’s embark on this journey together!

Hi everyone 
I am Danielle, your CJP Educator for Leeds, West Yorkshire!

I am a married mother to 3 young children.

After accidentally falling into the nail industry over 10 years ago, doing a 2 day course and not having much confidence in it, I found CJP in 2016. 
I bought the try me kit when it came in a little cotton bag and I fell in love.
 2 years into my CJP journey I went to the old HQ and had myself a 121 with the one and only Jemma Porch. This ignited the fire in my belly big time!

I tried practicing when I could between my other job and my kids.
I did a mixture of working from home and 2 days in a salon.

In 2022 after the dreaded lockdown I decided to take myself back to HQ. This time for the week to do the Back2Basics with our very own Alex, I had the time of my life! I could have stayed there forever. This quickly moved onto gel application & art, then on to BoB training.
I also managed to catch Chrissie at HQ to do my close the gap training.

I wanted to know everything there was to know about CJP and the reason behind it. 

I thought about becoming an educator but didn't think I was good enough.
Alex gave me that kick up the bum to go for it, and so I did.

After an incredibly informative week at educator training with Chrissie and some other amazing people, lots of hard work in the following months, here I am, an educator for THE CJP!!! 
An absolute dream come true for me.

I am a completely self confessed CJP addict and I love it!! 

I can not wait to welcome you all into my work space and teach you what I have been taught using these incredible products.

I’ve been a nail tech since 2005, in 2017 I came across CJP products and it was a game changer for me, I gained more confidence and deepened my passion in our industry.

Hey everyone I’m Jody 👋🏻 a nail technician based in Newport, South Wales. I live with my partner Brian and our two crazy fur babies Dexter (Long Haired Chihuahua) & Hugo (Boss) the Pug!  

I have just celebrated 20 years of hands-on experience in the beauty industry (how the heck did that happen?!) My journey began at the age of 16, when I trained in makeup as part of my Level 3 NVQ in Beauty and Spa Therapy. But it was nails that truly captured my heart, and that passion quickly grew into a lifelong career. At the age 18, I opened my first salon and have been proudly self-employed ever since. 

Today, I work full-time from my home studio, where I welcome clients into a calm, professional space and do what I love every single day!! Over the years, I’ve seen the nail industry evolve in so many ways and it’s that constant change and creativity that keeps me inspired and driven to stay at the top of my game! 

I also hold a teaching degree and spent five years teaching nail technology and beauty therapy in further education. Whilst I loved guiding the next generation of nail/beauty professionals, I found the college system overly rigid and outdated. When I left to focus on my own business, I always knew I’d come back to teaching one day, in a way that felt fresh, relevant, and follows the same values as I do - Enter CJP! 🥰

I’m soooooo ridiculously proud to educate alongside a brand I’ve trusted and used for YEARS!  Being able to share my knowledge and experience with both clients and students is something I truly treasure. Nails was NEVER a natural talent for me, so I PROMISE you, if you are struggling with something, I guarantee I will have been there at some point too! My sheer stubbornness got me through, and now I want to help YOU get that lightbulb moment too!

Hi!, I’m Karen, your educator for the Cumbria area.

I came to nails later in life than most, due to an illness I couldn’t carry on with my previous job, and initially started doing nails as something to do while recovering.

It quickly became my passion and over the years I’ve travelled and trained with some amazing educators, wanting to be the best I could possibly be. I came to use CJP pretty early on in my career and I’ve never looked back. From the quality of their products to their customer service and support, it’s second to none.

Being an educator for them is a privilege and being able to teach and pass on knowledge to a high standard is something.

I’m very proud of teaching and supporting my students and seeing them gain confidence in their skills and being able to help them be the best they can possibly be has become my passion too. I live in the countryside surrounded by hills with my  son and our fur baby, a miniature dachshund called Boo. My students love coming and say that I always make them feel so calm, saying it’s like a play day with a friend.

I have a background in art, once being a ceramic painter and educator, so a lot of my sets are quite artistic, although I still love a plain set that shows off amazing structure.

In my spare time I still love to draw and paint, and going on walks with little Boo.

Hi, I’m Katie Lowrie, and I’m so excited to be part of your nail journey! With over 20 years in the nail industry, I’ve seen trends come and go—but one thing that never changes is my love for helping others grow in this amazing profession.

I’ve been using CJP Nail Systems for the past 7 years, and I’m truly honoured to now be an educator for a brand I believe in so deeply. I absolutely love all things acrylic, and when I get the chance, I adore creating designs that play with negative space—it’s one of my favourite ways to add a unique, modern twist to classic nails.

My teaching style is warm, bubbly, and approachable—I want you to feel completely at ease, whether it’s your first time picking up a brush or you’re building on your existing skills. My goal is to help you learn with confidence, creativity, and support every step of the way.

Hi, I’m Kerry your CJP educator for Suffolk.

I have been in the nail industry for over 10 years. I have my own business and work from my home in a fully fitted and registered salon, where I offer a range of treatments. My own little salon. My lady den.

I am an everyday active working nail tech which I love to do. Passing such skills on to you is a huge passion of mine.

Nails are a huge part of my business. Over the last 8 years I have spent a lot of time attending courses to upskill and perfect my technique. Nails definitely haven’t come easy to me and I have had to work hard to get where I am today.

If you feel like there’s something out there that you’re supposed to be doing, if you have a passion for it, then stop wishing and just do it. If you don’t love what you do, you won’t do it with much conviction or passion. I stuck at what I love, and it has definitely paid off.

I love doing 3D acrylic nail art. It’s such delicate work but really does set the nails off to look unique and bespoke to my clients. I also enjoy crazy nail art. Something that’s unique and different. Something that’s always pushing my boundaries in my ability. There is always something new to learn and we will never stop learning.
I have been using CJP since they very first started, and it really is a game changer. I have never fell in love with a brand so quickly. I went on a back to basics course with Jemma Porch the owner of CJP in 2017. This only made me fall in love with the brand and products even more.

I have recently spent a week with Chrissie Pearce having extensive training covering all the up-to-date skills and unique techniques which was amazing, and I have learnt so much. I will be more than honoured to pass these skills onto you to help you live your passion the same as I am every day. This has only confirmed even more my passion for all things nails.

Opening CJP nail mail is like Christmas for me. (which is almost every week) I have an addiction to CJP haha!

Hi everyone, I'm Kim. I have been a nail tech & Beauty therapist for 15 years. 

I'm a mum of two, based in a salon in Preston, Lancashire. In my spare time I love being outdoors with my family and making memories with them, I love to read and do crafts. 

I love everything about nails, I have a passion for sculpting and being creative. I came into the industry after working in a family salon and this allowed me to pursue a passion for art. Teaching has always been something I've wanted to do and CJP has allowed me to hone my skills and become the nail tech I am today.

 I've been using CJP almost since the beginning and I just love how the products work, I love bold bright colours and see nails as small canvases that we can decorate. 

Since being in the industry I have learnt so much and I'm excited to pass my knowledge on to students and help them become the best they can be. I look forward to being the educator for you and covering the Lancashire area.

I would like to introduce myself as I’m thrilled to be the official CJP educator for Bedfordshire.

I am based in Shefford and I have a small salon which also provides enough room to teach small classes so I can achieve the best from my students. It is a calming and friendly environment where I hope to make you feel relaxed as I know how daunting it is going to new places to learn different techniques.

I have been in the industry for 30 years, I have used CJP since it began and not looked back, Jemma is constantly evolving the company so there’s always something new!!

I am so excited about all the new courses that Chrissie has put together, she blows me away with her passion and knowledge!!

Being part of a team is important to me as we all have different strengths and can nurture each other as well as our students, I particularly love encapsulating, colour blocking and anything glitter.

When I’m not being a nail tech, I’m a wife and mum but they’re in their 20s now so I feel I’m on the homestretch!

I like to spend time doing the garden and reading with a gin of course! Or we go camping in our van and explore and chill with our mad dog Benson, well that’s all from me, hope to see you soon and help you along your Nail Career.

Hi I’m Laura

I’ve been doing nails now for 5 years and have my own quirky little salon, although I started my journey in this industry later than most (33 years old) I haven’t let that stop me. It has always been a dream of mine to become a CJP educator & here I am living that dream, anything is possible when you practise and put your mind to it and I am living proof of that.

I live, sleep and breathe everything nails & CJP, my most favourite part of doing nails is laying the acrylic down and building that foundation.

Nails has not come easy for me, I have had to work at it, but I won’t let anything beat me and I practice until I get it right. By adapting that mindset I have broken down every challenge I have faced into manageable sections and have so many tricks up my sleeve to show you the easiest way possible. Trust me I can save you the hours I have already spent working out the quickest and easiest way! I absolutely love CJP and their products I feel they took my work to the next level.

Outside of work I am kept extremely busy juggling my 8 children, 7 of those have 4 legs and a waggy tail. I’m mum to 7 French Bulldogs and their 10-year-old human brother. I am a self-confessed shopaholic, my worst kept secret is that I own over 500 pairs of shoes. My shopping addiction doesn’t stop at shoes it includes nail products, make-up, jewellery and handbags. Basically I work to buy shoes and dog food!

I am so excited to meet you all and be on this CJP journey together. Together we are stronger, I love nothing more than watching people have their own lightbulb moment and my support will be in place every step of the way. I can’t wait to celebrate with you when you smash your own goals.

Hi, I’m Lianne. I have been a nail technician for a fair few years now and I absolutely love it. I enjoy all styles, lengths, and designs of nails but my favourite will always be an Ombre nail. However, I do thoroughly enjoy a themed set of nails.

I am an active nail tech currently working 5-6 days a week from my spacious cabin. Nails isn’t only my “job” it’s my passion. I’m like a child at Christmas when CJP’s new products are launched, and it keeps me excited, as I love to try new styles and develop new techniques. I feel there is always something to learn, regardless of all my years in the industry I still love to practice and try out new ideas.

I am so looking forward to sharing and passing all this on to new students, as an active tech I feel my everyday knowledge is invaluable to students—I can’t wait to meet you all and show you everything I have learnt on my own journey and watch you succeed on yours.

Hey, I’m Sarah! I’ve been a nail tech for around 10  years and absolutely love what I do Whether it’s a “simple french” or something a little more abstract. I have two wonderful girls, that keep me relatively busy along side nails! I live by the sea, enjoy beach walks and the odd glass of vino!  

My passion for nails began when I became a mum for the first time! I needed something that I could fit around a busy job and mum life. My passion for nails grew and grew, then I discovered CJP. I fell in love with their products and the brand itself, what it stood for and the community behind it. Fast forward to now I can’t believe I am lucky enough to work along side a fantastic company and team! 

I am  I’m over the moon to be able to share with you my knowledge with you all and I cannot wait for you all to fulfill your dreams of becoming a nail tech and watching you blossom to achieve your goals!

Hi I'm Zoë and I am the CJP educator for Northern Ireland, based in a salon in Lurgan. I started off doing child psychology and although I love it, my passion is within the nail industry. I have always had an interest in all things nails, so in 2014 I decided to do a nail course. Doing only close friends and family's nails I never made it my full time job until 2020 when I decided to stop working with children and become self employed, making it easier to work round my own two small children. 

Starting my nail journey off I quickly realised that acrylic has my heart. I love ombre nails and am all on to "bring acrylic back". I started my business off in a great salon and from there I have built up a lovely clientele. When I seen the opportunity to become an educator for CJP I knew I had to apply and each part of the selection process became a lot harder for my close friend's and family to listen to me as I could not contain my excitement when Chrissie told me I had been selected. 

I can't wait to to teach and help you all achieve your goals and dreams, sharing tips, tricks and skills I have picked up and been shown myself, building confidence and creating amazing sets of nails along the way. You will have an addiction to CJP (and tracking the DPD delivery) in no time, if you haven't already and will just love being part of the fantastic and supportive CJP community.
